Our vision is to render a mile walk part of the American daily habit, no different than brushing our teeth.
You may some days walk quite a bit farther. Great.
But the same values of walking that come alive for us
on a 6-mile outing–joy to immerse ourselves in the outdoors, connection with community of other walkers, contemplation of our lives and the planet–
are fulfilled in the 15-30 minutes
that would take each of us to walk one mile.
